eSports Industry Awards baru saja diadakan untuk pertama kalinya di The Brewery, London senin malam kemarin.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh 600 tamu undangan dari industri game untuk merayakan prestasi luar biasa dan kontribusi yang di berikan pada industri esports selama 12 bulan terakhir. Ada 14 kategori penghargaan yang diberikan secara langsung melalui streaming dan empat kategori penghargaan lain hingga acara berakhir.
Acara tersebut juga mendapat dukungan fantastis dari tim-tim esports papan atas seperti Raul Rodriguez (Owner Optic Gaming), Mike ‘Hastro’ Rufail (Owner & MD, Tim EnVyUs) dan Brittanny Lattanzio (Team Manager di Team Liquid) serta pelaku esports yang lain seperti Duncan Ironmonger (CEO of Scuf Gaming), Steve Ford (VP Sales for Twitch), Andy Payne OBE (Chair of British eSports Association), Neville Upton (CEO of Gfinity) dan Michiel Bakker (CEO of GinxTV).
Bintang rugby dari Inggris Maro Itoje, dan petinju David Haye juga ikut memeriahkan acara, ada juga Youtubers seperti KSI, Spencer FC, Clare Siobahn dan Ali-A.
